What Is A Pre-Engineered Metal Building?

If you look through our past projects, you’ll see that we use pre-engineered metal buildings for some of them. Take a look at why they’re useful.

What They Are

Pre-engineered metal buildings are steel-framed structures that are specifically engineered for project requirements. The components are manufactured off-site, where they are cut, punched and fabricated for our design. They are then shipped to the project site and assembled there. We are then able to continue adding customizations as we complete the structure. These buildings are made strong and built to last.

Why We Use Them

These metal buildings tend to be more cost-effective and time-efficient. Because the time and materials are more predictable, we’re able to allocate costs to further customizations. Because the components are already made, construction teams are able to begin erecting the structure immediately upon arrival. The metal is coated to protect it from corrosion and dirt, and they are built to withstand almost anything. Because of the way these buildings are engineered, they allow for future expansions.

Whatever your project, Benchmark will find a way to get it done, and do it well. There are different methods of achieving your goals, and we’re happy to come up with the solutions that work best for your budget and time constraints.
